How long does the procedure take?
Every situation is unique, but generally an upper Blepharoplasty surgery (under local) is about 1-1.5 hours long. An upper Blepharoplasty surgery (under general) is about 1 hour long, a lower Blepharoplasty surgery (under general) is about 1.5 hours long, and an upper and lower Blepharoplasty surgery (under general) is about 1-2 hours long.
Will it be performed under local or general anesthesia?
Either. The use of what kind of anesthesia depends on the patient and will be determined during the initial consultation.

Patients may return to work within 1 week.
What should I expect after my procedure?
Patients may experience some eyelid irritation, bruising, swelling, or tightness.
Do I need special testing prior to my procedure?
Testing is dependent on the patient’s health history and age. Testing is ordered for every patient.
Will this be covered by insurance?

When can I start exercising after my procedure?
Patients may resume exercising in about 10 days.
